Nursing Knowledge International, (NKI) a wholly-owned, 501(c)3 not-for-profit subsidiary of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, is committed to providing evidence-based knowledge solutions developed for nurses by nurses. Nursing Knowledge International offers free and fee-based content developed by leading organizations around the globe.

Our Mission
The mission of Nursing Knowledge International is to help nurses help others. This is accomplished by providing products and services that serve the global community of nurses in its pursuit of health care knowledge, career advancement, research and continued development of the nursing profession. Nursing Knowledge International assists the nursing profession to improve the health and education of patients and the communities in which nurses practice, lead, teach and conduct research.

Delivering on Our Mission
In addition to providing the high quality products and services of its parent, The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, Nursing Knowledge International has established sales, marketing and distribution partnerships with a wide range of nursing associations, publishers, continuing education providers and universities. These organizations produce health care books, continuing education, journals, research papers, teaching aids and other forms of quality nursing-related knowledge. These products and services are made available globally via Nursing Knowledge International's Web portal, www.nursingknowledge.org, and through other means.

History
Nursing Knowledge International was established in November 2002 as a not-for-profit organization to serve the knowledge needs of the global nursing community. With headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana, Nursing Knowledge International is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International. The honor society has more than 125,000 active members worldwide.
