Advance Praise for 101 Global Leadership Lessons for Nurses
“Great leaders . . . actively reach out to less experienced colleagues, share their knowledge, and leverage their own power to assist others in their career progression. Dr. Rollins Gantz has compiled this collection of experiences from outstanding nurse leaders and those they have mentored. These stories will inspire all of us to touch the lives of tomorrow’s caregivers and patients through the mentoring of our evolving leaders.”

“The current and projected nursing shortage has created a significant need for nurse leaders to place a much greater commitment to mentor the new generation of nurse leaders. This book provides examples of successful mentoring strategies from nurse leaders around the globe. The urgent need for mentoring is not an activity for those only in the United States, but is a priority for nurse leaders around the world. The future of our profession depends on it.”

“As illustrated in this book, nurses reach across cultural, national, and generational boundaries to sustain and enhance cherished values. Senior nurse leaders pass on knowledge, practice wisdom, and proven nursing strategies to junior nurses who are aspiring leaders. Junior colleagues offer new insights, challenges, and affirmation as they take our profession in new directions. My hope is that readers of this book will join the process.”
