Did the website address change?
No, you can still access the site at www.nursingknowledge.org.

Will I have to register again on the website?
If you have made a purchase of any product, then you will not need to register again. If you are registered but have never purchased, then you will need to re-register.

How do I get to the new website?
Same address as the old website – www.nursingknowledge.org.

Is the new website secure?
Nursing Knowledge International uses industry standard SSL encryption to secure all communication.

Is NKI part of Sigma Theta Tau International?
Yes, Nursing Knowledge International, (NKI) a wholly-owned, 501(c)3 not-for-profit subsidiary of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, is committed to providing evidence-based knowledge solutions developed for nurses by nurses. Nursing Knowledge International offers free and fee-based content developed by leading organizations around the globe.

Will I need to change my bookmark for the NKI website?
No, your bookmark will not need to be changed.

What is “phishing”?
“Phishing” is a scam designed to steal your personal information. If you receive an email that looks like it is from us asking you for your personal information, do not respond. We will never request your password, credit card information or other personal information through email.

What is a “Tag”?
A tag is a type of metadata that helps describe an item and allows it to be found again by browsing and searching.

 

Product Questions

Can I still purchase books and merchandise online? 
Yes, you can still place orders online.

I purchased a continuing nursing education (CNE) course that I haven’t completed yet. Is it still available? If so, how do I find it?
Yes, it is still available. You should have received an email with instructions. If you did not or no longer have the email, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log into www.nursingknowledge.org.
  2. Sign in using the email address you registered with on the NKI site with as your username. Your password is the member number. Please retain this information for future use.
  3. After logging in, if your profile is not complete, you’ll be asked to update necessary information. If your profile is complete, you will land on My Profile page.
  4. On My Profile page, select Continuing Education from the list of options on the left side of the page, you’ll be directed to your course list. You will no longer need to sign in again to obtain your online education courses!

The 365 day time limit from date of purchase to complete your course still applies.

I purchased an e-book. Will it still be available for me to read?
Yes, it is still available. You should have received an email with instructions. If you did not or no longer have the email, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log into www.nursingknowledge.org.
  2. Sign in using the email address you registered with on the NKI site with as your username. Your password is the member number. Please retain this information for future use.
  3. After logging in, if your profile is not complete, you’ll be asked to update necessary information. If your profile is complete, you will land on My Profile page.
  4. On My Profile page, select My Downloadable Products from the list of options on the left side of the page, you’ll be directed to your e-book(s) that you have previously purchased.

I didn’t receive an email about my continuing education (or e-book) course. What happened?
Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or email client may be using filters to block email and this may be affecting the receipt of email from Nursing Knowledge International. If you believe this is happening, please consult the help section of your email program or contact your ISP directly to see how to relax or remove the settings that filter or block email. This will ensure that correspondence from Nursing Knowledge International will be accepted.

What are your shipping rates?

Can I track my package?
Yes, please log into the NKI website and navigate to My Profile, you will be able to see the tracking number when it becomes available.

How do I return or exchange a purchase?
Exchanges can only be done for a different size of the same item. For a refund, you must contact our customer service department WITHIN 14 DAYS business days upon receipt of your item. How do I get a discount?
If you are a member of Sigma Theta Tau International you will receive a 10% discount on publications and continuing education. If you are a registered NKI user and have opted in to email promotions, you will periodically receive promotions through email communication.

What is the member discount?
All Sigma Theta Tau members receive a 10% discount on publications and continuing education.

I’m ordering books for my class. Is there a discount for a bulk purchase?
Yes, we offer an institutional discount of 20% when the order is placed direct with NKI.
